Sidmouth Classic Car Show

Gilbert Stephens Solicitors are proud to sponsor and support the increasingly popular Sidmouth Classic Car Show which took place on Saturday 21^st September from 11:00am to 4:30pm at Sidmouth Cricket Club. This well-established event has been running since 2012 in conjunction with Sidmouth Chamber of Commerce and the Crash Box & Classic Car Club of Devon.

This year, despite the threat of wet weather, the afternoon attracted the crowds and with them came beautiful sunshine. This made for a great day out for car and motorcycle enthusiasts in addition to friends and family.

The Sidmouth Cricket Ground­­—home to a beautiful thatched clubhouse and spectacular views overlooking the sea—provided the perfect backdrop to an extremely diverse range of vintage vehicles, all registered before 2001.

As well as the main attraction visitors could enjoy listening to the sounds of a jazz band and Sidmouth radio alongside the revving vehicles! There was a variety of entertainment and food on the go including a BBQ and ice cream stand, or, if you preferred, a cream tea or a local ale could be enjoyed at the Cricket Pavilion.

This really was a spectacular event both in terms of the beautiful vintage vehicles and the stunning surroundings. We hope that with continued support this Classic Car Show continues to go from strength to strength.
