Christmas is on it’s way!

Yesterday officially marked the 1st day of Christmas for us here at Gilbert Stephens, and what a busy few weeks we are going to have!

It all kicks off with the Ottery St Mary Christmas Tree Festival, running from today until 26th November. We have a beautiful Christmas Tree in the Ottery Parish Church again this year, which has kindly been decorated by Claire Collett.

This November marks 5 years since we sadly lost Liz Govier, a Private Client Solicitor at our Ottery office. Liz used to decorate this tree every year and now her daughter, Claire, continues the tradition in her memory.

Do drop by and have a look at the wonderful Christmas trees in the church. They will be open and serving refreshments between 11am to 5pm, Monday to Saturday, and from 11am to 4pm on Sunday.

We will also be open on the evening of Friday 24th November for Ottery’s Festive Cheer event, so please drop by and join us for some mulled wine, mince pies and of course, chocolate for the kids!
