Catherine first joined Veitch Penny as a legal secretary quickly moving into litigation case handling and undertaking her legal studies whilst working. She became a Legal Executive before then qualifying as a Solicitor. Catherine became a Partner of Veitch Penny in 2013 and then joined the Gilbert Stephens partnership following the merger of the firms.
Although Catherine’s experience commenced in litigation since joining the Crediton office in 2014, she has undertaken a wide ranging caseload, supporting Ian Penny, to include agricultural/property matters, leases, Probate and Estate Administration, Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney.
Catherine brings a wealth of expertise to her clients and the partnership and continues to expand her client base in wills, lasting powers of attorney and estate administration using her litigation skillset when required.
Catherine prides herself in communicating with her clients in a manner suited to them.
