Sarah is a solicitor based in our Exeter office and deals with a wide range of Private Client work. Sarah advises on Estate Planning issues (Wills, Powers of Attorney and tax planning); Court of Protection issues; and has acted on behalf of Professional Attorneys for clients who need assistance in managing their finances. She has particular expertise in advising older and vulnerable clients and believes clear explanations and practical solutions are the best way to assist people.
Upon completion of her Legal Practice Course at the Inns of Court School of Law in London, Sarah qualified as a solicitor in 2012, and then relocated to a top 100 law firm in Cheltenham. She later returned to Devon to be near her family and joined a South Hams law firm prior to her move to Gilbert Stephens.
Away from work Sarah enjoys challenging herself; this May she took part in the London Bra Moonwalk, which meant that Sarah walked 26.2 miles across London wearing her ‘Disco Inferno’ themed decorated bra at night raising funds for Breast Cancer. Sarah’s next challenge is to walk the first two stages of the Camino de Santiago next September, so she is training for this. Sarah also enjoys dancing, open water swimming, and spending time with her family and friends.
