Proud Finalists of the DASLS Awards 2020
6th February 2020Gilbert Stephens Solicitors are pleased to announce that we have been shortlisted for the Devon and Somerset Law Society’s 2020 Legal Awards.
After previously winning the 2019 Corporate and Social Responsibility Award, alongside being highly commended for Law Firm of the Year (11+ Partners), we are thrilled to have made the shortlist for two categories again this year. Gilbert Stephens have been shortlisted for both the Corporate and Social Responsibility and Chartered Legal Executive of the Year (Sarah Heath, from our Conveyancing Department) categories.
As a firm, we work hard to engage and develop all our team members, so we can be secure in the knowledge that our solicitors are providing clients with the highest standards of service. Chartered Legal Executive, Sarah Heath, has worked at the firm for over seven years, advancing from a Legal Secretary to the demanding role she works in now. Sarah is also an active member of Exeter’s networking scene, to include a committee member of the Gilbert Stephens Young Professionals Network and the Exeter Property Circle.
More broadly, our commitment to corporate and social responsibility as a whole is deeply rooted in the firm’s values. We believe that to serve the communities in which we work, we need to not only know about the law, but we also need to know about the people we work with.
The charities, groups and initiatives that we have been involved with throughout the past year have been shining representatives of their communities, and we very much look forward to supporting these causes in the coming year.
We are very grateful to be recognised in the shortlist for these awards and are looking forward to meeting our fellow solicitors at the DASLS Annual Dinner on Thursday 30th April at Exeter Cathedral, to celebrate the achievements of our local legal professionals.
