On Saturday 19th October, Ottery St Mary were pleased to welcome back the much anticipated Carnival to the town.
In anticipation for this year’s Carnival, the town organised a window competition for all local businesses. The competition was in memory of Phyllis Baxter, Ottery’s much-loved Tourist Information Centre Manager and Citizen of the Year 2017, who sadly passed away last year. There was no better way to brighten up a gloomy October day than by getting wrapped up and going to the bright and cheerful Okehampton Carnival. Gilbert Stephens Solicitors did just that on Saturday 19th October. Okehampton Carnival is a traditional and popular event that lights up the streets of Okehampton with its lively and colourful procession of floats and costumes.
