Ottery St Mary Church Organ Recital

Gilbert Stephens Solicitors are sponsoring an organ recital by world renowned musician Professor Ian Tracey. The event is taking place on Wednesday 20th June at 7.30 in the historic Ottery St Mary Parish Church when Professor Tracey will be joined by Crispian Steele-Perkins, one of the world’s best known trumpet soloists, renowned for the quality of his performances and his wide-ranging musical experience.

Professor Tracey is the current Organist to the City of Liverpool, Chorus Master to the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Society and Professor, Fellow, and Organist at Liverpool John Moores University. In the last 33 years, he has conducted over 250 concerts with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra and Chorus, and in addition to these has recorded music for EMI, Chandos, Priory and for the BBC.

Crispian Steele-Perkins, a world leading exponent of the Baroque Trumpet has had an illustrious career ranging from his membership of the English National Opera, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and the English Chamber Orchestra to his work for television including Doctor Who, Oliver Twist, The World at War, Inspector Morse and the theme tune to the Antiques Roadshow.
