Gilbert Stephens welcome new solicitors to our Sidmouth office

31st March 2020

Gilbert Stephens Solicitors are pleased to have recently welcomed two new solicitors to our Sidmouth office. New solicitors, Caroline Parker and Amanda Farley, have strengthened the existing Private Client Department in Sidmouth.

Caroline has particular expertise in building good, longstanding relationships with clients and is happy to be able to provide much-needed support through what can often be a very emotional and stressful time. Caroline qualified as a solicitor in 2016 after completing her law degree and Legal Practice Course (LPC) at the University of Plymouth.

Amanda deals with a wide spectrum of Private Client work, such as Wills, Inheritance Tax Planning, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Deputyship Applications, Court of Protection work, Elderly Client and trusts. She worked as a Paralegal before completing her training at a local law firm. She then qualified as a solicitor in 2017 and gained a master’s degree in Legal Practice.

Richard Walford, Head of the Private Client Department, says “we have a very robust team of Private Client solicitors across the firm and particularly in our Sidmouth office. Both Amanda and Caroline bring with them a wide range of different skills and experience and the firm could not be happier to have them on board”.

If you need advice on Wills, trusts, Lasting Powers of Attorney, or other Private Client work, get in contact with our team at or call 01395 512443.
