Crediton Operatic and Dramatic Society

1st March 2015

As proud sponsors of Crediton Operatic and Dramatic Society’s performance of Oklahoma, members of our team enjoyed front row seats to see the fantastic show.

The classic tune from the show has been hummed around the Gilbert Stephens offices ever since and is particularly apt with the fantastic weather we have been enjoying over the past few weeks.

We wanted to say a big bravo to the cast and crew for their brilliant production of a Rodgers & Hammerstein favourite.
Members of the Crediton and Exeter offices went along and have given sterling reviews:
Jan Holland, Conveyancing Assistant, exclaimed: “I thoroughly enjoyed the production – it was excellent!”
Julie Besley, Office Manager, said: “It was brilliant, particularly considering they are amateurs. Even my husband commented on the voices of Curly and Jud. Jud in particular was really good. It was a very enjoyable evening.”

Even more congratulations are in order, as this year marks the society’s 50th birthday, performing in Crediton since 1965. It is great for Gilbert Stephens to be able to support the local arts scene and we most certainly look forward to their next production.
