Captain’s Charity Day at the East Devon Golf Club

28th July 2018

Gilbert Stephens Solicitors is pleased to sponsor this year’s Captain’s Charity Day at the East Devon Golf Club. The day is taking place on the 15th August between 7.30am and 4pm – this had to be rescheduled from 4th July due to fog.

The historic East Devon Golf is over a hundred years old, being founded in 1902, and is one of the best courses in the South West of England. It has firmly maintained its place in the top 100 ranking of UK golf clubs. The course itself takes full advantage of its position and commands spectacular views of Lyme Bay, making this an ideal location for the charity event.

Gilbert Stephens Solicitors is proud to be involved with this day of golfing. They recognise the importance of the club as a community hub, and of the game itself as a way of raising money for vital charities. The day offers the opportunity not only for some first class golfing action, but also a day out in the beautiful and hopefully sunny surroundings of the southwest of England, right on the Jurassic Coast.

Acknowledging the importance of the day Patrick Langrishe, partner at Gilbert Stephens Solicitors, noted that “we are more than excited to sponsor this day of golfing and, personally, I’m looking forward to spending time in the countryside at a club with such a rich heritage. The money raised from this event will be a vital lifeline to charities and we are proud to be involved.”

The day of golfing will begin at 7.30am and will run throughout the day.
