Jamilah obtained a degree in European Comparative and International Law from the University of Sheffield, which included studying for a semester at the University of Helsinki in Finland. She stayed in Sheffield to complete the postgraduate Legal Practice Course.
Jamilah qualified as a solicitor in November 2007. She joined Gilbert Stephens in June 2014 and became an associate in October 2016.
Jamilah advises on all aspects of private client work including Wills, Inheritance Tax planning, Powers of Attorney, Deputyships and Estate Administrations.
Jamilah has been a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) since November 2012, following completion of the STEP Diploma in Trusts and Estates (England and Wales). She has also been a full member of Solicitors For the Elderly (SFE) since March 2013.
Outside the office Jamilah enjoys swimming, cooking, new crafts and socialising with friends and family.
